Small Cell Lung Cancer: Current and Emerging Therapeutics
Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is a type of cancer that originates in the lungs and is characterized by the rapid growth and spread of abnormal cells. SCLC is considered an aggressive form of lung cancer and accounts for approximately 10-15% of all lung cancer cases. While treatments for SCLC have improved over the years, the prognosis for patients with this disease remains poor.
